Oliver Michael Maier

Principal Engineer Mechanical Components DNV-GL

Oliver Michael Maier is Principal Engineer for mechanical structures in DNVGL specialized on material science and fatigue lifetime calculations. Oliver has been in the energy business since 2007 and has supported many projects in type, component and project certification. Over the last years he is mainly working on R&D-projects for materials, new calculation methods (e.g. JIP Slewing Bearings) and structural reliability in different fields of application and the development of DNVGL´s Standards and Recommended Practices.
